چکیده

dr. bull has written two very important books. His theme is the development of moral judgement in children from the ages of 7 to 17 based on the children's responses to a number of projective and questionnaire enquiries. The author communicates a certain partisan attitude in upholding the importance of morals and in giving positive value to authority. At this point in history such an attitude may be well justified. The theoretical orientation stems from McDougall and Piaget but, with respect to the latter, he is somewhat ambivalent. His criticisms of Piaget's theorising ring true and are consistent with his own
